I am an adjunct professor of literature ---
not employed due to the collapse of funding
to the universities and colleges of California.
( ‘Adjunct’ means ‘ last-hired, first fired’ )
I now work with video, audio, and internet.

In the past, I studied and worked in Damascus.

The present situation does not allow Americans
to travel study in Damascus or travel to Syria.

I work in PhotoShop, Illustrator, AfterEffects,
Final Cut Pro, SoundBooth, ProTools.
I also assemble websites for desktops, tablets, and cellphones.

The economic difficulties here in the United States
And there in Syria and the Middle East interrupted
the Arabic studies of many Americans.

Though I cannot return to Damascus at his moment,
I want to continue my studies --- and I want to encourage
other Americans to study Arabic in Damascus,
the intellectual center of the Arab world.

This will not be an on-line school. But until Americans
And other foreigners can return to study in Damascus,
I will attempt to continue studying and helping others study via Skype, websites, YouTube, and email.

If you possess the teaching skills, the technical skills,
And can receive money from English-speaking foreigners, I will help you attract students.

The students will be your students.

Your students will pay you. I will not touch the money.

If you can work with PayPal, money will come straight to you. At present, PayPal operates in Turkey and Jordan –
Not Syria or Lebanon. Perhaps Ukash is possible.

I cannot send money to Syria. In past years, banks seized my accounts. I also endured interrogations at airports. I fear the government here in the future will impose more sanctions on Americans who violate
the ignorance and preconceptions of the ‘security’ officials.

I will work audio and video and SEO -- search engine optimization.

If I can continue my Arabic, good. Perhaps you can make money. If I help you, I will ask that you help me in Arabic.

Send an email, send the URLs of YouTube you have uploaded, perhaps we can work together to continue the study of Arabic, Arab culture, Arab literature, and the Noble Qu’ran.
